The Fujitsu Infinity Lounge
The Fujitsu Infinity Lounge is a Graphical User Interface which can be displayed additionally to the Windows® 7 operating system on the STYLISTIC Q550. It is touch-optimized and enhances the user experience as well as the usability of STYLISTIC Q550. The interface is adjustable to the use in landscape or portrait mode orientation. It offers access to e-mails and calendar information without the need to open Outlook. Moreover, users get access to several widgets such as RSS reader, notes, internet browser or the calculator. Access to tools to control the webcam, UMTS/WLAN, Program Files, speaker, brightness, status of battery charge etc. is enabled additionally. Users can switch from the Windows Desktop to the Fujitsu Infinity Lounge or vice versa by just one click.
Highest Usability
Providing one-touch access to applications, the Fujitsu Launcher is a fingerfriendly way to access the things you use most. You can also use Windows® 7 Gadgets to bring the most important information to the front of the home screen. You can view your calendar, RSS feeds, current stock prices and the like without first having to open a program.

Active Pen Input
Active pen input is just like writing on paper. It gives you the power to fill out forms, mark up plans, and brainstorm with all the benefits of electronic collaboration. You can rest your hand naturally on the screen and the included handwriting recognition software will convert what you write to text. Save, share and edit your electronic documents with all the familiarity, flexibility and exactitude of paper.
Brilliant Screen
Have you ever tried to show a colleague a presentation, but you both ended up practically sitting on top of one another to see the screen? The Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q550 solves this problem with an antiglare wide-angle display. The 25.7 cm (10.1-inch) 400 nits screen is bright enough for both indoor and outdoor use. You’ll be able to see what’s on the screen regardless of where you’re sitting.
Swappable Battery
You work all day, so your slate has to keep up. The Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q550 gives you the power to work all day long (up to 8 hours), and your battery is swappable in case you’ve got to work overtime. In addition Windows® 7 Professional allows you working longer on a single battery charge by turning off background activities on your PC that are not in use and saving power without affecting performance so you have more time to get work done. You’ll never be stuck searching for a socket when you should be closing the deal.
Security and Manageability
Highest Security
You can get logged in, and working quickly and securely with the built-in fingerprint and SmartCard readers. Your data is encrypted seamlessly with Full Disk Encryption (FDE) and includes the possibility of storing all your credentials on the optional embedded TPM module. If you lose your device or it’s stolen, Fujitsu's Advanced Theft Protection (ATP) allows administrators to track and recover the system and if necessary delete data on the missing slate. You and your organization can rest easy knowing that the Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q550 comes with the highest security standards.

Windows® 7 Professional on your Fujitsu STYLISTIC Q550 enables seamless collaboration with existing app investments and plugs right into your IT infrastructures. Run full versions of all the enterprise software that your organization requires, but enjoy the flexibility and usability of a slate user interface. The programs that keep you up to date on your office PC will be right where you expect them when you walk out the door with your slate. While you're on the go Windows® 7 Professional automatically manages your files and syncs your changes when you return to the network.
